This is a bill for an Act to provide for the fiscal framework for the Petroleum industry and other related matters. The document provides guidelines to establish a progressive fiscal framework that encourages substantial and progressive investment in the Petroleum industry balancing rewards with risk and enhancing revenues to the Federal Government of Nigeria. It is divided into six parts that contain: objectives, Petroleum income tax, deep offshore and frontier basin operations, Midstream Petroleum operation, Downstream Petroleum operation, and general provisions respectively.
