The overall objective of this policy is to foster job creation and income generation through promoting the creation of new SMEs and improving the performance and competitiveness of the existing ones to increase their participation and contribution to the Tanzanian economy. The policy covers reviewing and reconsidering public policies and regulations that discriminate against or hinder the start-up, survival, formalisation and growth of SMEs.
Ministry of Works, Transport and Communications
The main objective of this revised policy is to develop a comprehensive framework for sustainable development and management of the Nation�s water resources. It aims at ensuring that beneficiaries participate fully in the planning, construction, operation, maintenance and management of community-based domestic water supply schemes. This policy also seeks to address cross-sectoral interests in water, watershed management and integrated and participatory approaches for water resources planning, development and management.
