Law Regulating the Warehouse Receipt System

The law governs the regulations surrounding the warehouse receipt system. The law states that the capital market authority of Rwanda shall be the organ to issue warehouse receipt operator's license. Other provisions contained include; status, use, form, contents, duplicates, and seizure of a warehouse receipt; activities of a warehouse operator; information, inspection, and investigation, as well as administrative sanctions, offences, and penalties.
