Strategic and Investment Plan to Strengthen the Animal Genetic Improvement in Rwanda

This investment plan contains an overview of prevailing conditions in the livestock sector in Rwanda. It contains ways by which animals can be improved and how these improvement plans can be implemented. The need for this strategy arises out of the quest to raise agricultural efficiency across the entire value chain. This need is borne out of the inability of the government to allocate more land to agriculture and increase the livestock population.
