Rwanda Handcraft Strategic Plan (2009-2013)

The handicraft sector in Rwanda has developed over the years, not as a result of a conscious effort on the part of the government but sporadically. This strategic document intends to address key issues including the absence of a comprehensive strategy to guide stakeholders; lack of coordination; the vagueness of quality control; and standardization efforts as well as little understanding of strategies for breaking into the foreign market.
