National Family Planning and Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (FP/ASRH) Strategic Plan (2018-2024)

The government of Rwanda has prioritized FP and ASRH to drive its vision for poverty reduction and improved socioeconomic conditions. This plan is aligned with other important government policies including visions 2020 and 2050, EDPRS III, HSSP IV, and the SDGs. It hopes to serve as a guide, outlining strategic directions towards FP and ASRH to improve well-being. The strategic plan highlights the renewal of the ministry's resolve to deepen commitment levels to the importance of FP and ARSH. It specifies the need to involve men and youths to ensure greater efforts and coverage of the FP programs.
