Report on Labour Migration Statistics in Africa in 2015

The overall objective of this report is to compile data on labour migration and support member states in better understanding the data for purpose of policy formulation. Chapter four of this document outlines the concepts and definitions used to collect and validate the report. The report presents the trends in the size and distribution of the total population of Africa between 2008 and 2014; trends in the size and distribution of working-age population and labour force.
