Protocol on the Establishment of the East African Community Monetary Union

This document was designed in pursuant to the provisions of Articles 5 (2), 82 and 151 of the treaty for the establishment of the East African Community. It provides for the establishment, objectives and scope of the monetary union and the pre-requisites for the monetary union.
