National Gender Policy

This policy aims to enhance the participation of women and men, girls and boys for the attainment of sustainable and equitable development. The main focus areas of the policy include: gender, literacy, education and training; gender and reproductive health; agriculture, food security and nutrition; natural resources and environmental management; governance and human rights; poverty eradication and economic empowerment; gender and HIV and AIDS; and gender based violence.
