State Ownership and Governance Policy for State-Owned Enterprises

This policy aims to strengthen the oversight and governance of SOEs. The Policy extends the Government�s SOE reform efforts beyond privatization to oversight and governance of SOEs in line with international best practices. It broadly covers all State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) operate in key industries, such as agriculture, energy, water, telecommunication, and financial services. The overall goal is to ensure effective oversight and governance in SOEs to improve their performance, and for better product and service delivery.
