National Community Health Worker Policy, 2021

The primary objective of this policy is to ensure a standardized and well-coordinated CHW programme at all levels. To aim is to improve health promotion and delivery of essential services in Sierra Leone through an adequately trained, motivated, and equitably distributed community health workforce in order to achieve the goals set in the UHC Roadmap and other health - related SDGs by 2030.
