Independent Media Commission Act, 2020

This Act provides for the continuation of the Independent Media Commission. It provides for the registration and regulation of mass media institutions in Sierra Leone, as well as the licensing of radio, television, and direct-to-home digital satellite service broadcasting institutions. The Act also covers the registration of individuals and institutions engaged in the publication of newspapers and magazines in Sierra Leone. It further addresses other matters related to media regulation and governance.
