Voluntary Partnership Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Ghana on forest law enforcement, governance and trade in timber products into the Community

The focus of the agreement is to ensure that Ghanaian timber exports into the European Community are produced legally. The agreement deems a timber product as legal once it undergoes the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade licensing (FLEGT) scheme and obtains a FLEGT license.
