National Irrigation Policy, Strategies, and Regulatory Measures

This policy acknowledges the need for a comprehensive irrigation policy to coordinate and guide irrigation development in the country. It addresses the problems, constraints and opportunities, which cut across the whole irrigation sub-sector; It specifically targets informal, formal and commercial irrigation. It has an overarching goal of driving sustainable agricultural development in Ghana.
