Food and Agriculture Sector Development Policy (FASDEP II)

The FASDEP II emphasises the sustainable utilization of all resources and the commercialisation of activities in the agricultural sector. It targets resource-poor farmers and prioritises a maximum of 5 staple crops for achieving food security and income diversification. FASDEP II is a revision of FASDEP I and reflects changes in prevalent conditions.
