Ethiopian Wildlife Development and Conservation Authority Establishment Proclamation

This Proclamation establishes the Ethiopian Wildlife Development and Conservation Authority as an autonomous public agency of the federal government. The Authority shall be accountable to the ministry of culture and tourism. The authority shall, among other things; coordinate all activities relating to policies and laws drafting, to drive the development, conservation, and utilization of wildlife resources; develop and administer wildlife conservation areas; issue hunting permits to foreign tourists.
