Maritime Code of the Empire of Ethiopia Proclamation

This is a Law to provide for the nationality and registration of ships in Ethiopia, the use of Ethiopian ships, and navigation in Ethiopian waters. The proclamation details Shipowners, managers and the master; Regulation of maritime employment; Contracts relating to the use of the ship; Maritime collisions, assistance, and salvage; Participation in general average; Insurance; Penal provisions; and Miscellaneous articles.
